Bioscience Research Center
BsRC was founded in September 2013 to perform research and provide services in the fields of environment, food and human health. Since its constitution it has consolidated its turnover and increased its workforce by developing new jobs for highly qualified personnel in a growth process that is still underway. BsRC strongly believes in quality and aspires to excellence in the services it provides, as a business card to enter the international market in a competitive way; it is in this perspective that it entered TLS in 2016. Thanks to a staff of skilled and diversified researchers and to the national and international network that it has developed, BsRC offers its customers consulting, technical support, analytical support and training in its areas of expertise, working under a quality system in accordance with the European certification system UNI ISO 9001:2008.
Environment Sector
We carry out sampling, monitoring and analysis of environmental matrices (water, air, soil and sediment) and biological ones (animals and plants) in both marine and terrestrial environments. We support our customers in the classification of waste, environmental characterizations in relation to current regulations, impact assessments of works or activities, remediation operations, interventions in case of environmental damage, and in the REACH registration. We offer qualified technical consulting and independent expertise in case of judicial disputes. We develop basic research in the environmental sector, also directing it toward the creation of patents for environmental diagnostics and biomonitoring.
Food Sector
We support our customers in the monitoring of the production and optimization of the quality of food products during the development of new production processes and/or new supply chains. We provide analytical and consultancy services aimed at enhancing the quality of the product that our customers want to promote or relaunch on the national and international market. We develop basic research activities also aimed at resolving specific problems of producers, processors and retailers operating in the food industry and research aimed at creating new production and/or packaging patents.
Human Health Sector
Thanks to the multi-year experience of our researchers on the relationship between environmental exposure and biological risk, we are engaged in making estimates of exposure to contaminants of natural and man-made origin coming from food, indoor and outdoor environments, the use of cosmetics, medicines and employment activities. We develop basic and applied research aimed at assessing the risks of exposure for humans and the improvement of human health.
