ILO - INDUSTRIAL LIAISON OFFICE DELL’UNIVERSITÀ DI SIENA
The Industrial Liaison Office was founded in 1998 to promote technology transfer between the research facilities of the University of Siena and the area’s companies and institutions. In particular, the ILO has organized a technological information service for technology transfer, associated with a patent consulting service for companies, in addition to a service to support the protection of the research of the university departments by managing the patent applications. The ILO also plays a fundamental role in supporting the establishment of spin-off companies by researchers from the University of Siena. The ILO opened an office at the incubator in March 2008, along with the signature of a TLS – University of Siena collaboration agreement.
